Rahul Dravid And Mahela Jaywardhane

Rahul Dravid was a very different batsmen when he scored 177 runs against SriLanka in the Ahmedabad test match . Rahul Dravid also completed 11000 test runs and became the second Indian cricketer to do so after the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

Mahela Jaywardhane hit a double ton and showed what class of player he is. This was his sixth double hundred in test cricket. Apart from South Africa Mahela Jaywardhane has scored hundred in every country.

Vinod Kambli wants to play IPL.

The forgotten stylish batsmen Vinod Kambli has expressed desire to play for an IPL franchisee. He expressed his desire in a conversation with Shamita Shetty on the reality shoe Big Boss. Vinod Kambli and Shamita Shetty are both participants in the season 3 of reality show Big Boss. He was hinting at IPL team Rajastan Royals in which Shamita’s sister Shilpa Shetty is a co-owner. He says that his hands are itching to hit sixes and fours. Vinod Kambli stated that there is still much cricket left in him that people will love to watch.

It is difficult to do a kissing scene says Soha Ali Khan

Soha Ali Khan has done her first on screen lip kissing scene in here forth coming movie Tum Mile. While Soha was doing it for the first time and what made her more nervous was that it was with none other than the serial kisser of Bollywood -Imran Hashmi. While answering a question about her experience giving a kissing scene Soha admitted that they are very difficult and not at all romantic. According to her the actors are more uncomfortable than the actress in such situations.

Tum Mile is a romantic love story between Imran Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan. This Bollywood movie also has an underlying theme of the Mumbai floods of 26/07 that are still fresh in the minds of every Mumbaikar. The movie expects to cash in on this theme

Sachin Crosses 17000 ODI Runs

Jail एक dark और disturbing movie है . पर Madhur Bhandarkar की movie से और क्या expect कर सकते है . Chandni Baar, Corporate, Traffic Signal aur Fashion के बाद उनकी यह नयी movie भी वास्तविकता पर आधारित है . Jail फिर एक बार हमे मानवी जीवन की वास्तविकता से अवगत करता है और सोचने पे मजबूर करता है.

1. Lagaan :

Starring Amir Khan as Bhuvan, a villager, this is a movie about how he organizes a team of rookie villagers to play a cricket match against the English Team of Officers who are ruling his village Champaran. With a win granting the villagers freedom from paying taxes this match become more than cricket to them. It’s their battle for once pride and self esteem against the British Rule.

2. Chak De India




The movie is based on the sorry state of our National Sports Hockey in general and women’s hockey in particular. Shahrukh Khan plays a hockey coach Kabir Khan who puts life in a demotivated women’s hockey team to make them world champions. It is also his personal fight against the humiliation he faces when he is held responsible for loss to Pakistan in World Cup finals and labeled a Traitor.

3. Iqbal



The movie depict the struggle of a hearing impaired village boy Iqbaal (Shreyas Talpade) who into the Indian Cricket Team. Undeterred by the opposition of his father, his passion and determination for the sport coupled with coaching from Nasseruddin Shah and support from his mother and sister he realizes his dream of playing for India.

4 Goal:



With Football as the theme the movie depicts the problem of racism that Indians and other Asians face in European Countries. A story about how Asian football players struggle to save the existence of their football Club South Hall United by winning a football league that has the best European football clubs, this is their own way to fight for their self esteem though the sport . The movie has John Abraham and Arshad Warsi as football players.
