Hashim Amla

The South African Batsmen Hashim Amla scored his first double hundred in the first test against India in the ongoing India-South Africa Test Series. The match was played in Nagpur.

Hashim Amla scored over 250 runs and also made a partnership of 340 runs with South African all rounder Jacque Kallis. Kallis scored 173 runs.

The test series is important to both India and South Africa as the winner of this series will be placed at the top of ICC rankings for the Test playing nations.

Sharad, Shahrukh and the Sena

Maratha Strongman Sharad Pawar and Badshah of Bollywoord Shahrukh Khan both are the talk of the nations for their relations with the Regional Party of Maharashtra- Shiv Sena.

Shiv Sena are criticizing Shahrukh Khan for his support to Pakistani Players playing in Pakistan. Shiv Sena has threatened to disrupt the screenig of Karan Johars movie "My Name is Khan" which has Shahrukh Khan in the lead role.

Sharad Pawar was also attacked by media and other parties including its ally Congress for meeting Bal Thackrey on the IPL issue. Shiv Sena has threatened to disrupt IPL matches if the IPL franchisee's play Australian Players in Mumbai. Shiv Sena is agitating over the attacks on Indian Students and Workers in Australia.

Shiv Sena was founded by Balasaheb Thackrey. His Son Uddhav Thackrey is presently the leader of this party. His Nephew Raj Thackrey split from Shiv Sena to form his own party the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.

Sharad Pawar is a very senior and reputed Politician. He started his politics with the Indian National Congress but left the party over the issue of foriegn nationality of Sonia Gandhi. He founded the Nationalist Congress Party and heads the party. He was the chief minister of Maharashtra. In the present UPA government he holds the portfolio of Union Agriculture Minister.

Mithunda Shakes legs on Julie Julie

Bollywood Legend Mithun Chakraborty shook legs bowing to the request of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi who was a guest Celebrity on Dance India Dance season 2- a dance reality show on zee television.

Mithunda danced on one of his superhit song "Julie Julie" from the 1988 blockbuster movie "Jeete Hai Shaan Se". Mithunda's dancing style remains unchanged and he is still an amazing dancer. The true king of DISCO.

The best performance of the day award was given to Kunwar and Shakti from Terrence ki Toli.

Dance master Geeta dedicated her choreography on Saathiya Song to Vivek Oberoi.The dance was performed by Binni and Kishore. They are the last two contestants remaining from Geeta Ki Gang after the exit of Dharmesh Sir in last episode. Dharmesh exit is considered to be the biggest upset of season 2. However many including the dance masters are confident of his comeback with a wild card.

The highlight of the show was Vivek's lift with Dance Master Geeta Kapoor. vivek shared a very caring side of Geeta Kapoor when he was a struggler and Geeta was then a dancer in Farah Khans dance troop. Historical Moment for Indian Telivision

It was nothing short of a historical moment for Indian Television when two living legends of Indian Cinema, Mithun Chakraborty and Amitabh Bacchan shared the screen space together.

The occasion was Amitabh promoting his Movie "Teen Patti" on Zee Telivisions Dance Reality Show "Dance Indian Dance- season 2". Mithun Chakraborty is the grandmaster jury for this show.

Before this the two were seen together in the blockbuster movie "Agneepath" 20 years before. It is after two decades that the two stars were seen together on the same screen.

Both the stars showcased their admiration and mutual respect for each other throughout the time they were together. This humble behaviour is what makes them so popular amongst people.
