The South African Batsmen Hashim Amla scored his first double hundred in the first test against India in the ongoing India-South Africa Test Series. The match was played in Nagpur.
Hashim Amla scored over 250 runs and also made a partnership of 340 runs with South African all rounder Jacque Kallis. Kallis scored 173 runs.
The test series is important to both India and South Africa as the winner of this series will be placed at the top of ICC rankings for the Test playing nations.
